Gastroscopy (Upper GI Endoscopy)

Visual examination of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum using a flexible endoscope, allowing the diagnosis of upper digestive tract conditions.

5 to 15 minutes for the examination, 1 to 2 hours including preparation and monitoring

Colonoscopy

Complete visual examination of the colon and rectum using a flexible endoscope, essential for the screening and diagnosis of colorectal conditions.

20 to 45 minutes for the examination, 2 to 3 hours in total including preparation and monitoring

Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

Examination combining endoscopy and ultrasound to obtain precise images of the digestive walls and adjacent organs, essential for the assessment of certain digestive and pancreatic conditions.

ERCP - Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography

Specialized endoscopic examination for visualizing and treating conditions of the bile ducts and pancreatic duct, in particular the removal of bile duct stones.

Removal of polyps (growths) from the digestive tract during an endoscopy, an essential technique in the prevention of colorectal cancer.

Endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR)

Advanced endoscopic technique for resecting extensive superficial lesions of the digestive mucosa, a minimally invasive alternative to surgery.

Endoscopic placement of metallic or plastic stents in the digestive tract, to relieve an obstruction and restore transit.
