Psychological support
Psychological support before and after bariatric surgery, to prepare calmly for the changes and accompany the transformation.
What is it?

When is it indicated?
An interview before the operation verifies that the patient approaches surgery with realistic expectations and in good psychological condition.
Surgery transforms the relationship with food and self-image: talking about it beforehand helps patients experience these changes more calmly.
Snacking, compulsive eating or emotional eating can compromise the result: targeted work helps to understand and ease them.
After the operation, moments of doubt or plateaus are normal: occasional or regular support helps get through these stages with confidence.
Support helps patients embrace their new body and maintain motivation, two essential factors in the lasting success of the pathway.
